今日は、モーツアルトのピアノ協奏曲第21番　K.467とシューマンのピアノ協奏曲イ短調作品54を、Herbert von Karajanの指揮で聴きました。

平田清明「社会形成の経験と概念」

Civil Societyの研究をしていた折、ある英文の文献で参照された書籍で、一度読みたいと思っていたものを、久しぶりに足を踏み入れた神保町の古本屋で発見し、購入する。Ex-library materialらしく図書館のシールが貼ってあるが、読む人も少なく放出されたのだろう（現に、この本自体、とてもきれいだ）。

市民社会という概念は、それが培われた西欧社会の歴史とは切り離せないものがあり、それが獲得された歴史を共有していないわれわれ日本人にとってはこの概念を理解することは、少なからぬ困難を伴う。市民社会が資本主義の発達と不可分のものであり、著者は、マルクスは「資本」の中でこの関係を論じている、ということを示している。

この著作の中で興味深かったのは、「剰余価値」の説明である。「剰余価値」は日本では長らくマルクス経済学に特有の用語であると考えられていたが、フランスに暮らした著者は、その言葉が西欧社会では日常生活で用いられるものであることを「発見」し、その発見の驚きが端的に表されている。
私のロンドンでの経験とも重なるところがある。

Comarative advantages of nonprofit organizations

This was my first research topic at Aston, I've disgarded it yet. However, I found this topic interests a lot of researchers as well as practicioners in Japan. They understand it is important for nonprofit organizations to have comparative advantages over other sector organizations especially when nonprofit organizations are involved in collaborative activities. However, as is usual in Japan, this tpic is hardly discussed academically and I think even my tiny paper as Aston can fill the gap between theoretical perspectives, which are lack in Japan, and practical experiences.

Helmutの新しい本が上梓されて、その出版イベントがLSEのWaterstonesで開かれる。3月11日 17：30より。残念ながら、出席できない。案内によると、

とのこと。早速、Amazon.co.jpで注文した。
